The PADI Deep Diver Course is the perfect Specialty for certified divers who want to extend their limits and experience the magic of deep diving.
With a focus on safety, planning, and adventure, you will learn to manage the unique challenges of deeper depths.

Through eLearning and practical dives, you’ll master skills such as:

  • Proper deep dive planning.
  • Managing air supply and buoyancy control.
  • Avoiding nitrogen narcosis and understanding decompression limits.
  • Identifying and handling deep dive-specific challenges.

Over 2 Days, complete 4 deep dives under the supervision of a certified instructor and become a PADI Deep Diver.

Prerequisites:

  • Must have a   PADI Adventure Diver  or PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
  • Minimum age: 15 years


Preparation:

  • Complete the PADI Deep Diver eLearning prior to the course start

Before the course:

Ensure all eLearning modules are completed prior to arrival. eLearning access will be granted once we receive your passport copy and email.


Medical Conditions:

There are several medical and situational reasons when diving is not allowed or strongly discouraged. Safety is the priority, so consider the following:

  • Respiratory problems: Conditions like asthma, chronic bronchitis, or lung damage may pose risks.
  • Heart issues: Heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or recent heart surgery are contraindications.
  • Ear and sinus problems: Colds, sinus infections, or inability to equalize pressure can lead to injuries.
  • Pregnancy: Diving is generally not recommended during pregnancy due to the unknown effects of pressure on the fetus.
  • Recent surgery oriInjuries: Especially if it involves the ears, lungs, or cardiovascular system.
  • Medications: Some medications (e.g., sedatives or certain painkillers) may impair judgment or increase risk.
  • Behavioral/Preparation issues:
  • Alcohol or Drug Use: Diving under the influence is unsafe and prohibited.
  • Fatigue: Being overly tired or dehydrated can increase the risk of complications.


Environmental or Situational Factors:

  • Bad weather: High currents, storms, or murky water can make diving unsafe.
  • Equipment malfunctions: Never dive with faulty or incomplete gear.
  • Flight after diving: Avoid flying for at least 12–18 hours (depending on dive profiles) to reduce the risk of decompression sickness
